Awards...

The 1st Vientianale – International Filmfestival Vientiane was a great success. More than 300 people each day enjoyed the movies, the concert or just chatting, eating and drinking in the Garden of the Lao-German-House – creating a special and relaxed atmosphere. More than 20 entries from student and amateur filmmakers were submitted to the festival.

And the winners are:

1st Prize: “Yes I am” by Bouthanong Xomxayphol
2nd Prize: Interview with the host of heaven by Poramet Phimkhot
3rd Prize: “Lao Happy Country” by Matthiphob Dovangmixay
3rd Prize: “Morning Songs” by Chongkham Phonekgo, Vilankone Phachanthavong, Thi-Von Muong-Hane
Special Prize: “Hot Coffee” by National Institute of Fine Arts
People´s Prize: “Morning Songs” by Chongkham Phonekgo, Vilankone Phachanthavong, Thi-Von Muong-Hane
